From the scenic outlook, where you enjoyed the panorama, you can reach the cliff side foot path which leads to the «gisant ».

Grande-ValléeInstead of returning by the same path, walk about fifteen minutes on the pebble beach and discover the commercial wharf from which one can enjoy recreational fishing for cod and mackerel. If you take the time to gaze out over the ocean, you may catch sight of killer whales, sperm whales and fin whales.

From the wharf, gain access to a sandy beach embellished with playground equipment for the children, two volleyball courts, the « Noroît » pavilion, picnic tables and beach chairs.

Further east, in the center of town, two tennis courts flank Alexis-Caron Park. The park has pétanque courts and a skating rink, while swings and play areas are available for the children. You can take a leisurely walk on the lighted path which borders the river.

To the west, behind the Esdras-Minville secondary school, you have access to a baseball field in summer and a slope for tube sliding in winter.

Le Gisant Grande-ValléeTake the river road (rue de la Rivière), at the intersection of route 132, travel about 10 kilometres and discover a 7 kilometre footpath leading to Sault de Grande-Vallée and another 1.5 kilometre path leading to the shooting range and the animal trail.

At the end of this same path, approximately 15 kilometres from route 132, discover the farm lake. The lake's hard sandy bottom favours swimming and, if you have your equipment with you, sport fishing.

A foot path borders the lake and leads to a 9 kilometre bicycle path, transformed into a cross country skiing trail in winter. A shelter and numerous observation posts make this a convenient trajectory for the entire family.
